DIRECTIONS:
3575 Bigelow Blvd.
Oakland, PA 15213
(It is located where the
Bloomfield Bridge meets Bigelow Boulevard in OAKLAND...on the Northwest
corner. TAKE NOTE: Bigelow Blvd. is split by a
cement median for most of it. In order to enter the parking lot
where the casting call will be held you will have to be on the Northern
Side of the median...not the Southern Side. There is a stop light where
the Bloomfield Bridge meets Bigelow Blvd. You will be able to turn around
there if you happen to be on the South Side of the median. BELOW are a few maps--each at a different zoom--which should help you get a gauge on the location. The RED STAR is the location of the casting call.) |
THE DEAL:
- No need to memorize a monologue, though feel free to do so. There will be scripts available for you to read with the other actors. |
- The format of what you are auditioning for would best be described as an independent television project. We are in the same situation as any independent filmmaker is...however, our end goal is meant for Television or DVD Sales and will be made in an episodic format. With each episode being 25 to 30 minutes each--and the possibility of 8 to 12 episodes--that adds up to a lot more time than a 2-hour movie. Thus, there will be many more characters and many more roles to fill than a 2-hour movie. |
- Though many fictional characters are on the table, none are set in stone. It's very possible that you, the actor, might find yourself having lines written for you or what we might perceive to be your strengths. |
- There will be action, drama, suspense...but this is, essentially, a comedy. |
